Monika Kelly spoke to Paedia Mixon, CEO of New American Pathways, a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia which is designed to help new immigrants find a pathway to housing, schools, health care, jobs and community involvement. New American Pathways is there from the moment the new family arrives at the airport and is there to support these families in their transition into a successful new life in the United States. Volunteers are a huge part of the organization and help with after-school programs, language support, voter registration and more.
