Sarah Shaver chats with Duaine Detrick, a member of the Richland Community Days Committee. Detrick talks about the history of the event and how it benefits the non-profit East Hills Recreation Commission which provides community parks, playgrounds, and sports leagues. Derrick notes this year’s event has been planned for over a year and they’re already planning for 2024. He says there is no admission and families can enjoy music, games, and other activities, bringing the community together for in-person fun.
