Jeanice Lee talks with Sam Engel, Executive Director of Rogue Retreat. Having served the community since 1998 in Medford and Jackson Counties, Rogue Retreat serves individuals, couples, and families experiencing homelessness. Engel shares about their direct street outreach where they invite people to come into their shelter. He describes the various supportive services to help people make a transition back into the community. People work with case managers to help identify their goals and services needed. Engel says the goal is to get people to graduate from their program, become self-sufficient, and build a stable life. (RogueRetreat.org)
