Monika Kelly talks to Shannon Dominguez-Stevens, director of Mary House, about the services offered at this day facility. Maryhouse is open for services for women and families to provide showers, mail service, hygiene items, breakfast and coffee, a respite area, and help with social services. Shannon also discussed the last homeless count in Sacramento County--6000 unhoused people on the street in 2019 and the reality of many homeless people dying on the streets.
