Posted on Sunday, March 26, 2023 by Rafael Sierra

Rafael Sierra talks with Riley Cobian, Associate Director of Students and Volunteers for School on Wheels. School on Wheels serves the greater Los Angeles area, providing free tutoring and mentorship to children experiencing homelessness. Cobian says they help school age kids living in shelters, motels, vehicles, group homes and on the streets. She details their services including one on one tutoring sessions, mentoring, school placement assistance for kids who don’t have a school to go to, scholarships, support for parents including housing, mental health resources, food assistance and more. Cobian says there’s no cost to families for their services. (https://schoolonwheels.org/)
