Someplace Special – South Charleston’s motto says a lot about how the residents, including the mayor, regard their town. Sarah Shaver chatted with South Charleston, WV, Mayor Frank Mullens about his hometown and exciting plans for the future. He recounted the history of South Charleston, what the city has to offer, talked about his own background, and why ran for mayor. He also discussed economic development, including the upcoming Park Place shopping area, recreation, and the city’s valuable employees. He discussed about plans for the future, including a new recreation center, and also about how he loves to talk to the people of the city.
