Jack Church talks with Carolina Montano, Interim Executive Director for the South Florida Wildlife Center in Fort Lauderdale. Montano says the Center has been around since 1969 helping rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife in the south Florida area. A staff of 30 help in rehabilitating injured wildlife that covers a wide range of animals. She says residential and commercial growth continues to place pressure on wildlife as space they normally occupied becomes developed. Despite the growing need for what the Center provides, Montano is confident in the Center's ability to keep up with the demand.
