Lexy Smith speaks with Chris Croswhite, Executive Director of the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake which has been in operation for 52 years. Croswhite shares about the men’s facility that houses their dayroom which shelters without housing from the elements. Croswhite explains how women’s shelter for women is not open to the public since some are fleeing domestic situations. To access the women and children’s department you must make an appointment ahead of time. Croswhite explains how to volunteer for the various programs.
