Lexy Smith speaks with Laura Colbert, Adult Program Specialist of The Wilkinson Public Library in Telluride. Colbert shares how libraries have changed in the last ten years and more than books can be checked out, including unique items like metal detectors and baby strollers. Colbert discusses the full services offered at the Wilkinson Public Library including fingerprinting, passports, and notary services. Colbert explains how the library is a meeting place for many people especially since they loan out hotspots varied interests.
