Kindra Ponzio talks with Alyssa Hofman, Exec Dir, Founder of Tiny Pine Foundation. Hofman shares her story of wanting to help the fire victims that lost their homes in Nor Cal. Losing her home as well she had first hand knowledge of how difficult the recovery is. Hofman knew nothing of building but on faith stepped out and started building. After 5 years of building these homes and giving them away, she just got her contractors license. They are continuing to build but still the need is high. Hofman mentioned that many folks were either underinsured or not insured at all.
