He and Pastor Steven Furtick (r), founder of Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., also multicultural, sat together for a video session called “A Necessary Conversation” about the current climate of unrest in America, most recently inflamed by the tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Pastor Gray emphasized, "This is not just about race, it's about justice."

It got serious, emotional, and deep. Both pastors admitted beforehand, they were nervous about the conversation. “We have to speak. We aren’t going to say everything perfectly, but in a season like this, silence is agreement.” Pastor Steven Furtick and Pastor John Gray sit down to have a conversation about what it will take to become the bridge to a better future.
