“Charlie Kirk was a pioneer, a civil rights activist, a humanitarian, and above all, a devout follower of Jesus Christ. His assassination can best be described as horrific, tragic, diabolical, and unfortunately revealing. On many occasions, rhetorical violence in our nation has tragically escalated into physical confrontation and, inevitably, death.
Charlie Kirk’s assassination must serve as a moment of reckoning. This is the moment where Americans must speak not to advance the agenda of the donkey or the elephant, but exclusively the agenda of the Lamb.
Right now it may seem impossible, but I believe more young people will embrace life, religious liberty, and biblical justice in America than ever expected because of the impact of Charlie’s life. I truly believe that the devil will regret, the gates of hell will regret, the powers of darkness will regret, the earthly silencing of this man of God.
At the end of the day, may both Democrats and Republicans, Christians and non-Christians, come together and do one thing: turn on the light. There is light in America, and that light is found when we see the image of God in each other; when we not only respect and tolerate, but love those we disagree with.
With your actions, words, deeds, and conversations; be light. This I know for certain: every single time light stands next to darkness, light always wins.
On behalf of my family and myself, our most sincere condolences to the Kirk family."
