Nick Hall, founder of Pulse, the millennial-led evangelism movement, will host "God Lives Here," a prayer and worship rally in Minneapolis on May 6 to celebrate the National Day of Prayer.
"God Lives Here" is the product of over 12 years of united prayer and worship gatherings, including over 700 churches from all backgrounds throughout the Twin Cities who believe in and desire to empower the next generation.
The event will include a night of worship, prayer and biblical challenge for a generation to follow Jesus beginning with a prayer walk downtown at 6 p.m. CT in parking lot A at North Central University (one block from Elliot Park) and ending at River City Church (formerly First Baptist Church). Participants will then gather at River City Church from 7 p.m. CT to 9 p.m. CT for a time of worship and continued prayer led by leaders from churches across cities in Minnesota, including evangelist Gabrielle Odom.
"Wherever God is at work, his people should be! On the National Day of Prayer, thousands of churches across America are praying for revival in our day," said Nick Hall. "We are inviting the people of Minneapolis to join the call and follow in the footsteps of Jesus, making a declaration to both the Church and a hurting world that wherever there is pain and people in need, God lives here."
