Recently, the crisis in Ukraine has taken a dangerous turn for the worse as the potential for a Russian military invasion now appears to be more likely. With the continuous build-up of Russian and Belarusian troops and equipment along Ukraine’s eastern border, many analysts believe that Ukraine’s peace and security is now under the threat of an imminent attack.
That’s why Mission Eurasia is urging the global Christian community to pray earnestly for God to intervene in this crisis and defeat the forces of evil that are mobilizing an army to bring further destruction and death to Ukraine.
Ukraine is the location of Mission Eurasia’s field ministries headquarters, from where all of its work is mobilized to bring the gospel of peace to other countries in Eurasia. Because of this crisis, Mission Eurasia may need to postpone some ministry events that were planned for the near future.
At the same time, Mission Eurasia is committed to respond to this crisis by mobilizing all available resources to provide humanitarian aid and spiritual relief to those who are affected by this conflict.
Since 2014, when Russia first invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea, Mission Eurasia has been assisting refugees and other victims of war in Ukraine and elsewhere through our “I Care” Refugee Assistance program.
That’s why Mission Eurasia is asking for donations that would preposition it to deliver much-needed humanitarian aid, including food and clothing, medical assistance, and spiritual assistance through the distribution of Scripture, and trauma counseling, to those impacted by possible further military action in Ukraine. www.missioneurasia.org.
Mission Eurasia is calling on the global Christian community to pray for peace in Ukraine. Please also pray for the safety and protection of its field ministries workers and their families in Ukraine. Finally, please pray that God would enable Mission Eurasia and the national evangelical church in Ukraine to continue bringing hope, comfort, and relief through the gospel to those affected by this crisis.
