In a quiet Texas town, revival is breaking out in one of the most unexpected places: a middle school library.

At Santa Fe Middle School in Cleveland, Texas, a humble Friday morning tradition that started with donuts has grown into a full-fledged spiritual movement. Coach Lance Hardman founded the Cool Christian Club—also known as C3—to give students a space to encounter God during their school day.

“There’s nothing that'll shut me up from talking about the Gospel.” — Coach Lance Hardman
Each week, more than 140 students fill the library before class. Not just for breakfast, but for worship, prayer, and a message of truth. What began as a few curious kids looking for food has become a wave of transformation.
“They used to come for the donuts and dip. Now they’re coming for the truth, and bringing their friends with them.” — Counselor Mallory Daigle
From Curiosity to Christ
As attendance grew, so did the students’ hunger for something deeper. Many began professing their faith openly, with some experiencing salvation for the very first time.
“They have verbally and physically pronounced their salvation,” says Hardman, reflecting on moments when students lifted their hands in worship and prayed over one another.
And it’s not just the students who are changing.

Hope for Hurting Hearts
School counselor Mallory Daigle said C3 is helping kids cope with personal pain and emotional challenges in ways she’s never seen before.
“A lot of my students just don’t know where to turn or what to do... I’m seeing them get their cups full before heading off to high school," Daigle said.
She plays worship music in her office, creating a peaceful space where students can find comfort and healing.
“I’m not approaching it from what I learned in my counseling classes. I’m approaching it now from what the Book of all books says.”

Bold Faith in Public Schools
In a world where speaking about Jesus in schools can be controversial, Coach Hardman stands firm.
“I’m not a teacher that’s a Christian. I’m a Christian teacher.”
Having met Christ himself at 18, he knows the importance of making faith real, not just religious routine.
“Sometimes we protect kids too much from the truth, and it doesn’t prepare them for the reality of life. We’ve got to give them the armor of God now.”

A New Christian Revolution
Both Hardman and Daigle believe this movement won’t stop in Cleveland.
“It’s spreading like wildfire,” Daigle said.
Other schools are taking notice, and Hardman is ready to help replicate the model across the country.
“I’m not possessive over the Word of God. If someone wants to do this, call me.”
