(Franklin, TN) Monika Kelly recently had the joy of sitting down with K-LOVE friend Will McGinniss—former bass player for Audio Adrenaline and now Executive Director of the Hands and Feet Project.
What started with a band of Midwest boys who simply said “yes” to God has turned into a 21-year mission serving children and families in Haiti.
Rather hear the story?
Back in the early 2000s, Audio Adrenaline was traveling the world, writing songs that encouraged young people to live boldly for Jesus. But the band felt a stirring: Could their platform be used for something greater than themselves?
Will shared how Haiti came quickly to mind. Their lead singer, Mark Stuart, had parents who were longtime missionaries there. In 2003, the band pooled their resources, bought land, and invited Mark’s parents to begin what would become the Hands and Feet Project—named after their song “Hands and Feet,” which they sang every night on tour.
Today, two decades later, that vision has outlived the band itself.
Will said it best: “If you ask any of us what we’re most proud of, it’s that we were able to start this work. And it’s still going.”
Will’s humility stands out. He describes himself and his bandmates as “just average dudes from the Midwest.” Yet, God took their childlike faith and willingness to say yes and multiplied it into something beyond their imagination.
Scripture reminds us that God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. Paul writes:
“Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.” (1 Corinthians 1:26–27)
Will and the Audio Adrenaline guys didn’t need to be the most talented or influential. They simply needed to submit their platform to the Lord, and He did the rest.
When asked about serving in Haiti, Will's response was powerful. He doesn’t like the phrase “the least of these” because, as he put it, “We’re all made in the image and likeness of God.”

That’s the heart behind Hands and Feet: seeing every child, every family, as an image-bearer deeply loved by the Father. Will reflected on Jesus’ parable of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to chase after the one (Luke 15:4). He said, “That was me. God chased me down. And because He cares for me, I can’t help but care for others.”
This is why the Hands and Feet Project exists—because God’s love compels us to care for those who are vulnerable, hurting, and in need.
Now, 21 years later, the Hands and Feet Project is still thriving, and they’re inviting others to join the story. On November 12, 2025, they’ll host a special fundraiser in Franklin, Tennessee, with keynote speaker Tim Tebow and worship led by For King & Country. (Click here to see how the Tim Tebow Foundation supports the Hands and Feet Project).
The night will be filled with music, stories of God’s impact in Haiti, and opportunities for believers to step into what God is doing. Tickets are limited (around 280 seats), and there are both general and VIP options—including a chance to meet Tim and receive a signed copy of his new book, Look Again: Recognize Your Worth. Renew Your Hope. Run with Confidence. which was announced in April 2025 and is scheduled for release on November 4, 2025..

Will and the band said "yes" to God and because of that obedience, children and families in Haiti have experienced the love of Christ in tangible ways for more than two decades.
