Survey: 1-In-3 Remote Workers Might Quit If Required To Return To Office Full-Time

Companies like Facebook, Microsoft and Uber recently announced plans to reopen offices, and more employers may follow suit as vaccine distribution gains steam and COVID-19 case rates slow. But are workers on board with heading back on-site?

New research from Robert Half shows about 1 in 3 professionals currently working from home would look for a new job if required to return to the office full time. Further, nearly half of all employees surveyed said they prefer a hybrid work structure. They also revealed the top ways companies can best support a full-time return to the office:

Offering the freedom to set their preferred onsite hours

Providing a personal, distraction-free workspace

Covering commuting costs
