Peter Kaye speaks with Jim Killoran of the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater New York City about the growing need for affordable housing. Killoran contrasts the average apartment rent to what a family could be paying towards owning their own home through the Fuller Center’s homeownership program. He proudly reflects on six families having recently paid off their mortgages and shares how this will positively impact those families for future generations. Killoran speaks to good stewardship through passive home building where energy efficiency is a key focus as energy cost continue to rise.
