Thank Your Barista

Barista adding milk to coffee cup

Have you ever thought about how hard your FedEx driver works? Especially when it’s over 100 degrees outside! What about the poor guy who has to collect all the shopping carts from the nether regions of the parking lot?

And don’t even get me started about the nasty job your dental hygienist has to face every day (true confession: 30 years of marriage and I still can’t watch my husband floss. Nasty. :)

Angels. Every one of them!

I think we would all agree that there are some jobs that are exceptionally difficult. And, we most likely think about how much we appreciate what those workers do - but, do we actually SAY it?

Here at K-LOVE, we’re saying “Yes!” to “30 Days of Encouragement.” It’s a chance to spread encouragement and hope to those around us.

So, how about this. Why don’t we look for the opportunity to encourage people that we come into contact with today? Tell your barista that you appreciate how hard she works to make that perfect cup of coffee. The teen boy that bags your groceries? Thank him for putting in long hours on his feet. Something as simple as “thank you” (and, perhaps a cold bottle of water!) can encourage someone who needs it.

Let’s say “Yes!” to encouraging others today!
