Becky Hansen talks with Nate Kile, Program Director for the Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, serving all over Alaska. Kile defines blind and visually impaired and shares his own experience as a blind person; he understands the fear and angst involved but lives a rich and active life. He explains that there is a 70% unemployment rate for blind people, and they work to build employable skills all while inspiring hope for a full life. (www.alaskabvi.org)
