Kindra Ponzio talks with Tiandra Rushing, Exec Dir, American Red Cross Northern Nevada. Rushing shares the different services that the Red Cross provides. Those include food boxes, utility assistance, help with all kinds of resources for fire victims, shelter, gift cards, etc. She also talks about services to the armed forces, which helps loved ones get in touch with a soldier that is deployed out of the country in case of an emergency at home, and helps get them home if necessary. Rushing talks about the importance of blood donations and that each donation can affect up to 6 lives.
