Kindra Ponzio talks with Loreal Weitzel, Executive Director of Aruka Project. Weitzel talks about the growing problem of human trafficking and how the Bay Area is one of the top five in the nation for human trafficking. She says Aruka Project has a survivor LED training including aftercare, advocacy, job training, schooling, etc. Weitzel says their goal is rescuing and restoration. She says they have a lot of training that is specialized for medical and law enforcement officials but also training that is designated for parents as well. She says it's imperative for us as parents to be aware of the tactics used by the master manipulators who are targeting our kids today, period. Much of it done online and in games apps.
