Kindra Ponzio talks with Melissa Holland, Co Founder and CEO of Awaken. Holland talks about how huge the problem of human trafficking is in this area along with the entire nation. She says we need to stop the demand and the rest will follow. Holland advocates we need to have stricter laws in place for the buyers, and also better role models for men that are purchasing. She says it is tougher in Reno due to the fact that part of the problem is legal. While the laws have gotten better for the victims, there is still a lot of work to be done. She also speaks about how to keep our kids safe from predators.
