Kindra Ponzio talks with Monica Rose. Exec Dir, BGC of the Redwoods. Rose talks about the after school programs they offer kids, including Power Hour, arts, games, sports, technical help, academics, etc. She says one of the most popular is the cooking program and the garden. Rose says the kids are surprised to see where the food actually comes form and get to prepare a meal once a month for the parents to come and enjoy.
