Becky Hansen talks with Emily Ricci, President of Cancer Connection in Juneau. Emily shares her personal story of surviving cancer and how she depended on Cancer Connection, so much so, that she joined the board after her recovery. Cancer Connection helps to cover some travel expense and even has an apartment in Seattle for those needing a place to stay during treatment. They have reference resources available and a Let's Talk Program peer support, Juneau's Cancer Survivor Support Group, and a Counseling Assistance Program.
