Peter Kaye speaks with Perry Jones, Executive Director of the Capital City Rescue Mission, about the faces of homelessness in New York's capital region. Jones shares from his nearly four and a half decades of experience at the Mission to paint a vivid picture of what homelessness truly looks like and discusses the various programs and services the Mission utilizes to give both men and women a hand up and a path to independence. Jones proudly speaks of the sixty plus efficiency apartments that clients can stay in for up to two years while building their credit and creating a rental history. He is quick to point out that Capital City Rescue Mission is a Gospel mission and their ultimate goal is to lead souls to Christ.
