Jim Davis speaks with Tchernavia Montgomery, Chief Executive Officer for Care Ring in Charlotte, NC. Care Ring started serving the community in 1955 by offering health services to the uninsured and underinsured population of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Montgomery shares about how the services have grown over the years to include a program that links local physicians to clients for needed treatments such as surgeries and cancer care. Care Ring recently moved to a new and larger facility and now houses a food pantry twice a week to better serve the community and their patients. (www.careringnc.org)
