Jack Church spoke with Elizabeth Kurtz, Executive Director for Charlotte Family Housing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kurtz spoke about how Charlotte Family Housing is able to provide for transitional to permanent housing for families in need. The basic requirements for being in the program are the adults need to be employed and have at least one child in the home. The organization also helps with family budgeting to help insure they remain in permanent housing. Kurtz pointed out that 98 percent of the families sustained housing for at least two years after completing the CFH program.
