Phil O'Bryan talks with Melissa Blevins, President & CEO, of the Chattanooga Area Foodbank which serves 20 counties in Tennessee and Northwest Georgia. The area has seen a 40% increase in food insecurity since the beginning of COVID 19. Senior adults are the fastest growing segment of the population suffering from food insecurity. We talk about local food pantry's like the Community Resource Center in Chattoga County. We also address hungry children, volunteer opportunities, food donations through food drives and financial donations.
