Tanya Bohannon talks with Shawn Rentz about his role as Safety Director for the City of Hubbard and the many responsibilities involved in keeping the community safe. Rentz shares how his background in law enforcement prepared him for the position and explains how the city’s police department, first responders and other departments work together when challenges arise. He also discusses community partnerships, emergency preparedness, communication with residents and some of the safety priorities facing Hubbard today.
