Jim Davis speaks with Ryan LaSuer, Executive Director at Community Care Fellowship in Nashville, TN. The nonprofit started serving the homeless population of Nashville in 1981 by feeding them daily meals. LaSuer says the organization still serves the daily meals but also provides showers, washers and dryers and housing opportunities. Community Care Fellowship is developing a housing solutions program that invites area churches to connect by utilizing unused space at the church sites as temporary housing. They hope to see other cities adopt this model for use in their communities. (www.ccfnashville.org)
