Kindra Ponzio talks with Jennifer Barretto, Area Director of Community Solutions Inc. Barretto talks about an organization that offers services to folks that have been involved in the criminal justice system. Barreto shares her personal story and why she has the passion behind what she does. She says they offer services at the Day Reporting Center for people that are on parole or probation, including job search help, food, clothing, enrolling in school, and help with housing. Barretto says they have services that include anger management and classes for perpetrators of domestic violence. She says they also have a juvenile hall program which is more of a mentoring program, that helps kids look at their future differently and ideally give them hope for a different life.
