Joel Reagan speaks with Rod Shepherd, Executive Director of Corner House in Emporia. Corner House has served those fighting addictions since at least the 1960s. Corner House provides several levels of outpatient treatment, drug screening, Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Shepherd speaks about the need for non-profit centers like Corner House in eastern Kansas. He also shares about his own experience fighting addiction before he came to his current role.
