Ron Turner speaks with Beth Chisholm, Deputy Director of Door County Dept of Health and Human Services. Chisholm describes signs someone is possibly suffering from poor mental health. She says Door County is becoming more of a retirement community and the elder population is experiencing more mental health issues as well. She adds the pandemic helped healthcare services grow in some ways, particularly tele-health, which can be as effective for both patient and therapist. Chisholm says everyone is different and there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to mental health. (https://www.co.door.wi.gov)
