Jeanice Lee talks to Susan Nowicke, Executive Director of EcoVivarium Reptile Sanctuary & Museum. EcoVivarium rescues reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods and is one of the largest in the U.S. Nowicke says they intake animals’ various ways, and they serve as a home to several sanctuary animals. They have a 10,000 sq. foot museum and offer education programs, tours, classroom field trips, community and corporate events, birthday parties and celebrations, with the goal to spark excitement for learning. Volunteers and donations needed. The museum is open Fri – Sun 10am -4pm in Escondido. Learn more at (EcoVivarium.org) They are a neurodivergent friendly location.
