Kindra Ponzio talks with Andre Hale, Animal Control & Facilities Manager, Humboldt Co Sheriff's Office Animal Services. Hale shares the need for fosters and that there is a huge surrender happening now with limited housing available. Some of the need comes from a covid backlash and people going back to work and the overall economy changes. She talks about the importance of spaying and neuturing, micro chipping and registering your pets. Hale shares a story of reunification of out of state pets due to microchipping.
