Jim Davis speaks with Maddie Ewoldt, Location Leader for the Isaiah 117 House of Vanderburgh County, located in Evansville, IN. The house provides a safe, comforting space for children in transition after being removed from their homes. Ewoldt shares the original story that sparked the first house opening in 2017 as well as the story of the Vanderburgh County house that opened in July of 2020. She shares the difference the house has made in the lives of the social workers who work with the children that have been removed from a home, and a personal story of seeing the house make a difference in the life of a child.
