Jason Craig speaks with Margaret Brown, Executive Director of the J.L. King Community Center in Starkville, MS. For more than 50 years, the center has helped youth and adults by creating pathways to prosperity. Brown shares insight into programs, including after-school education, the Career and Financial Center, and Adult Education. Serving a six-square-mile area that includes several subsidized housing communities, she emphasizes that many families work hard to overcome challenges.
