Felipe Aguilar talks with Erin Martinez, Clinical Director, of the Life Skills Learning Center, in Clovis, NM, about the challenges their community faces with behavioral and mental health issues. She explains how since the CIVID-19 pandemic they have seen an increase of behavioral and mental health related issues in children, youth, and adults. Martinez explains how the shortage of care providers in rural New Mexico communities makes it difficult for people to find the help they need. Martinez also explains that these issues have no cultural or socio-economic barriers. More information available online at (https://lifeskillsclovis.com).
