Colemans explains how they provide emergency planning, coordination, and disaster response to help Maricopa County prepare for and recover from crisis. Coleman discusses the department’s training, preparedness exercises, and coordination with first responders during severe emergencies. Coleman outlines how important it is to have an emergency plan and to GO when alerted to evacuate. Wildfires and flooding are the two most common emergencies that occur in the valley.
