Phil O'Bryan talks with Alice Markey, Director and Walt Barrett, Asst. Director of the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library. We talk about the various services provided to the residents of the area. Those services include interlibrary loans, public access computers and more. We talk about how the internet has affected libraries in this day and age and how people would obtain a library card. We also highlight the upgrades at the library including a bistro and fireplaces to sit by and read.
