Jason Craig speaks with Aisha Saffold, Founder of PEARLS Mentoring in Memphis and throughout North and Central Mississippi. The organization’s mission is to empower young girls through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement. Saffold shares that when a community comes together to support young women, transformation follows. Their programs include civic engagement, environmental responsibility, etiquette and leadership training, as well as a signature debutante ball. With a heart for service, Saffold reflects on how her faith and the people around her keep her grounded, including her mother, who gave her the first opportunity to serve young women.
