Kindra Ponzio talks with Leslie Bacho, CEO Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. Bacho talks about how the numbers for food needs have doubled after the pandemic. She shares that they have numerous food distribution centers at most of the colleges and the schools. Bacho says they use a huge number of volunteers to make this all happen. She talks about a food rescue program, where volunteers go weekly to pick up food from grocery stores and such.
