Kindra Ponzio talks with Carrie Morgan, Vice Commander District 6 of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Morgan shares her personal story of 20+ years of active service to our country. She talks about the services the VFW provides to our veterans and service members when they come home. She says that there are a lot of things that our vets struggle with and they provide services to meet those needs including helping with transportation for our older vets to medical appointments, helping with wheelchair ramps, roof repairs and whatever our vets need to continue a good quality of life. She says there are also programs that help deal with loss and support the entire family of our veterans.
