Sarah Shaver chats with Wauseon Mayor Kathy Huner, who recounts a a bit of city history and tells why she entered politics in her town. She’s the first Latino mayor of any town in Ohio also first woman mayor of Wauseon, but says what matters is for a mayor to listen to the concerns of their citizens. Huner says it’s important for citizens to bring their vision and be active in their community, and Wauseon’s people show they care for each other in many different ways, especially after tragedies.
