Grammy-nominated artist Bob Bailey grew up singing with his family band, The Bailey Family Singers, which was established in Portland, Oregon. Bailey studied music at the University of Oregon in the 1970s, where he gained exposure to a variety of musical styles. Over the next few decades, he honed his skills as a touring musician and performing on “The PTL Club,” a Christian television program. In 1984, Bailey’s album “I’m Walkin’” was nominated for a Grammy Award. The title track played on K-LOVE radio, an encouraging song about living the Christian life by faith while awaiting the blessing of Heaven.
