Country/pop singer/songwriter from Middle Tennessee. He moved to Dallas as a teen and earned degrees in theater and radio/television from Hardin Simmons University. In 1992 he won a GMA new artist showcase that landed his first recording contract. He toured with Phillips, Craig & Dean.
