Don’t be mistaken – while the chorus may feel cheery, Blessing Offor isn’t sugarcoating anything on this vulnerable rendition of “Lift Me Up.”
Over soft piano tones, Offor’s buttery vocals deliver lyrics that read like a confessional. He describes how he’s been acting the part to win the approval of others. “But it’s been heavy on my bones,” shares the “Brighter Days” singer. “It’s been weary on my soul.”
