K-LOVE Fan Awards: Podcast of the Year Nominees

In the two years the Podcast Impact category has been in existence, stars from “Duck Dynasty” have dominated. In its inaugural year, Sadie Robertson Huff took home the trophy for her podcast, “WHOA That’s Good,” which is nominated again this year. In 2023, her family members, Phil and Jase, walked away winners for their podcast, “Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson.” The Louisiana natives have stiff competition in 2024 from fellow nominees Lisa Harper, John Cooper, Jennie Allen, Annie F. Downs and Candace Cameron Bure. Will the Robertson clan add another accolade to their mantle this year, or will a new winner be crowned? Only the fans can decide when they select their pick for Podcast Impact.

Hosted by Brandon Lake and Sadie Robertson Huff, the 11th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards will air exclusively on TBN Friday, May 31, 2024, at 7 p.m. CT / 8 p.m. ET.

“Back Porch Theology,” Lisa Harper

Lisa Harper

Nominated for a third consecutive year, Lisa Harper brings listeners a little slice of Southern hospitality on “Back Porch Theology.” Just like she does when she’s speaking at a church or a conference, Harper employs personal anecdotes, easy humor and Scripture-backed lessons to help listeners understand God’s plans and purposes for His children. With each episode, the respected teacher and theologian dives deep into the Bible, unearthing practical ways we can apply ancient truths to our lives today — all with a glass of sweet tea in hand.

“Cooper Stuff Podcast,” John Cooper

Cooper Stuff Podcast

Skillet frontman and 2021 Book Impact award recipient John Cooper tackles hard questions and taboo topics — all from a Christian perspective — on his wildly popular podcast, “Cooper Stuff.” If it’s making headlines or consuming pop culture, Cooper is talking about it. Nothing is off limits as the award-winning singer gets bold and candid. With over 200 episodes under his belt, the acclaimed rocker addresses everything from cancel culture and the deconstruction movement in Christianity to his hot takes on current events, politics and viral debates.

“Made For This,” Jennie Allen

Made for This Jennie Allen

IF:Gathering founder and bestselling author Jennie Allen answers the burning questions she receives from women around the world on her “Made For This” podcast. The mother of four releases two episodes weekly — a shorter offering that showcases her real, accessible approach to teaching and a longer listening experience that features Allen interviewing a special guest. Recent friends of the podcast have included Sadie and Christian Huff, John Mark Comer, Matt Chandler, Allie and Colby Schnacky from JWLKRS Worship and Allen’s daughter, Kate.

“That Sounds Fun,” Annie F. Downs

That Sounds Fun Annie F. Downs

New York Times bestselling author Annie F. Downs chats with her friends about whatever sounds fun to them on her flagship podcast. From themed episodes and relevant Q&As to shows focused on interviews with thought leaders, authors and musicians, Downs proves to be the quintessential hostess as she asks insightful questions and entertains a diverse guest list that keeps her listeners coming back week after week. She’s recently welcomed Anne Wilson, for KING & COUNTRY, actress Laura Osnes and Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman to the “That Sounds Fun” podcast.

“The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast,” Candace Cameron Bure

The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast

On her well-known podcast, actress, author and entrepreneur Candace Cameron Bure leans into her life experience, Christian values and Scripture-led moral compass for conversations centered around themes that influence the life of every believer. A mix of interviews, candid chats and personal reflection, “The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast” gives listeners more in-depth time with the beloved personality and outspoken follower of Jesus, who brings her sunny demeanor and thoughtful, Christ-centered outlook to every episode. She’s recently hosted discussions with members of her “Unsung Hero” family, fellow nominee Jennie Allen and Christian comedian Jason Earls.

“WHOA That’s Good,” Sadie Robertson Huff

Whoa That

For each episode of “WHOA That’s Good,” “Duck Dynasty” star and Live Original founder Sadie Robertson Huff talks to a variety of artists, authors and athletes, always asking one pivotal question: What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? The 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards co-host has recently posed this question to author Jess Connolly, influencer Devin Cordle and Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson Caldwell. Huff is the only one of this year’s six nominees who is a previous winner in this category.
