Jack Church spoke with Krissie Newman, Co Founder and President for Rescue Ranch located in north of Charlotte in Statesville, North Carolina. Newman talked about how her love for animals at a young age led to her founding this 87 acre ranch which is now home to over 80 animals rescued from a variety of situations from neglect, hoarding and owner surrender. While the ranch is focused on rescuing animals it also emphasizes education programs for youth and adults to learn about responsible pet ownership, empathy and compassion for animals, how animals survive in the wild, and other fun facts about our Animal Ambassadors.
